Between the 10th and 15th of August, 2026 the Seafood Festival is back in Olhão, bringing with it the best of local and regional cuisine. This unmissable event takes place in Jardim Pescador Olhanense, on the edge of the city, and promises a unique experience for all visitors.
Real Marina Hotel & Spa is once again present at the festival, offering an exclusive menu created by our talented Chefs. Using the freshest ingredients from the Ria Formosa, we prepare dishes that will delight your taste buds. Each day of the festival we will have a dish of the day.
Day 10 – Bean stew with cuttlefish and shellfish
Day 11 – Octopus, prawns and sweet potato “cataplana”
Day 12 – Hearty meagre and Atlantic prawn pasta stew
Day 13 – Traditional bread stew with prawns and coriander
Day 14 – Meagre and seafood “cataplana”
Day 15 – Creamy razor clam rice with prawns and lime
These and other delicacies can be enjoyed on site or taken home with our Take Away service.
In addition to gastronomy, the Seafood Festival has a luxurious musical program that promises to liven up your summer nights. It starts on the 10th with Matia Damásio, on the 11th it is Deejay Telio’s turn, Némanus performs on the 12th, on the 13th it will be Calema‘s turn, on the 14th it will be Mariza, and closing the festival with a flourish, on the 15th it will be Daniela Mercury‘s turn.
